Hi, I'm Amber. Your doula.

My name is Amber, and I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Black Birth Nerds, LLC. came to be out of my expertise in birth work. I am an expert at creating a safe and empowering atmosphere environment during the birth expertise. I bring joy, information, and comfort to each birth experience. I have a passion to help all women of color, (especially black women) have healthy and powerful births! I also hold a passion to esteem and support the birth partner as well! I offer travel services across the United States. 

With resources, support, and training I have successfully guided families to make critical decisions for what's best for their needs in unplanned situations. I am trained as a birth and postpartum doula and in the process of becoming certified with CAPPA. I specialize in guidance for critical decision making and holistic comfort measures. With me supporting you in birth, you will feel an abundance of safety and support.

I have supported pregnant women and new moms as a professional Doula since 2018. Based in NYC/ATL, I provide moms and birth partners with the emotional and physical support they need in order to have a gentle birthing experience.
